Modine Announces Expansion In India To Address Rising Data Center Industry Demand

(RTTNews) - Modine Manufacturing Company (MOD), a Wisconsin-based thermal management company, Tuesday announced plans to open a new facility in Chennai, India, in mid-2025 to address the growing demand for critical cooling solutions for data centers.

The facility will produce data center cooling equipment under the Airedale by Modine brand, and cooling modules for stationary power generation systems. This expansion follows the recent openings of new manufacturing facilities in Calgary, Canada, and Bradford, UK, to meet the growing demand in the data center industry.

This facility will be Modine's second in India, following the 2007 opening of Modine Thermal Systems India, which designs and manufactures cooling modules for off-highway vehicles, commercial vehicles, and power generation equipment.

Tuesday, MOD is currently trading at $122.51 or 0.22% lower on the New York Stock Exchange.
