Mindray Medical Board Receives Going Private Proposal - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Mindray Medical International Limited (MR) announced its board has received a preliminary non-binding proposal letter from a Buyer Group, consisting of Li Xiting, Executive Chairman of the Board, President and Co-Chief Executive Officer, Xu Hang, Chairman of the Board, and Cheng Minghe, Co-Chief Executive Officer and Chief Strategic Officer, to acquire all of the outstanding shares of the company not already owned by the Buyer Group in a going private transaction for US$30.0 per ADS or US$30.0 per ordinary share in cash, subject to certain conditions.

The Board of Mindray Medical intends to form a special committee consisting of independent directors to consider the proposal.
