MiMedx Files Against Patent Infringement Of Surgenexs's Placental Allograft Products

(RTTNews) - MiMedx Group, Inc. (MDXG), Tuesday announced that it has filed a lawsuit against Surgenex, LLC, alleging the latter for infringing the company's patents with its placental allograft products.

The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona, seeks permanent injunctive relief and monetary damages.

Earlier this year, MiMedx has filed a lawsuit against Surgenex, alleging corporate raiding scheme on the company's commercial organization and unfair competitive practices.

Currently, MiMedx's stock is trading at $9.44, down 0.32 percent on the Nasdaq.
