MFC Industrial Q3 Profit Slides, Sales Up - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - MFC Industrial Ltd. (TTT, MIL) said third-quarter attributable profit fell to $6.42 million from the previous year's $6.98 million. Earnings per share were $0.10, compared to $0.11 last year.

Net sales increased to $389.42 million from the prior year's $213.42 million.

Gerardo Cortina, President and CEO, said, "We have made progress in the integration of our new companies into MFC and continue to work on synergies and efficiencies utilizing our geographic diversification and strong customer base to improve our margins. In addition, we are pursuing opportunities to increase the value proposition of our existing businesses by cross-selling supply chain structured solutions and products and increasing logistics and warehousing capabilities.
