Mettler-Toledo Int'l Q3 Profit Up - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Mettler-Toledo International Inc. (MTD) Thursday reported third-quarter profit of $74.33 million or $2.43 per share, up from $72.18 million or $2.28 per share in the same period last year.

Sales improved to $591.7 million from $578.6 million last year. Analysts expected revenues of $591.76 million.

Looking ahead to the fourth quarter, the company has forecast adjusted earnings in the range of $3.70 to $3.75 per share. Analysts currently expect fourth-quarter earnings if $3.79 per share.

For the fiscal 2013, the company currently eprojects adjusted earnings in a range of $11.35 to $11.55 per share, up from its previous guidance range of $10.45 to $10.60 per share. Analysts currently expect full-year earnings if $10.54 per share.
