Mercadolibre Inc. Q3 Profit Declines 29%

(RTTNews) - Mercadolibre Inc. (MELI) released earnings for third quarter that dropped from last year.

The company said its profit totaled $27.67 million, or $0.63 per share. This was lower than $38.91 million, or $0.88 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.62 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 60.6% to $370.66 million. This was up from $230.85 million last year.
