Mercadolibre Inc. Q3 Income Climbs 35%

(RTTNews) - Mercadolibre Inc. (MELI) announced earnings for its third quarter that advanced compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $45.64 million, or $1.03 per share. This was higher than $33.77 million, or $0.76 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.62 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 14.0% to $168.64 million. This was up from $147.94 million last year.
