MeadWestvaco Names Mark S. Cross Senior Vice President, Emerging Markets

Mr. Cross previously worked for JohnsonDiversey, Inc., a leadingglobal provider of cleaning and hygiene solutions to the institutionaland industrial marketplace, since 2003. He first served as senior vicepresident and group president in charge of the Latin America andAsia-Pacific regions, and then became president of the Europe, MiddleEast and Africa Region.

Prior to JohnsonDiversey, Mr. Cross worked for 24 years forKimberly-Clark Corporation (NYSE: KMB), holding a variety of marketingand general management positions with this company, in North Americaand Europe, culminating in his leadership of Kimberly-ClarkProfessional.

Mr. Cross graduated from the University of Maine with a Bachelor'sdegree in Chemical Engineering and received a Master's in BusinessAdministration with high distinction as a Baker Scholar from theHarvard Graduate School of Business Administration.

Mr. Cross will be located in Richmond, Va., where MeadWestvaco isrelocating its corporate headquarters.
