Maric College - Panorama City Hosts Graduation for 97 Students On Saturday
PANORAMA CITY, Calif., Aug. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Maric College - Panorama City announced that it will hold graduation ceremonies on Saturday, August 19th for 97 students. The Honorable Martin H. Mogul, Administrative Judge for the Department of Defense, will keynote Saturday's graduation ceremony, which will take place at 10:00 a.m. at the Northridge Performing Arts Center on the California State University - Northridge campus at 18111 Nordhoff Street in Northridge, Calif., at the intersection of Nordhoff Street and Zelzah Avenue.
Maric College's students will be recognized for earning associate's degrees, diplomas or certificates that qualify them for entry-level positions that are in high demand, such as medical assistant and paralegal. According to the California Employment Development Department, Labor Market Information Division report on California Occupational Employment Projections 2006, medical assistant positions are expected to increase by 35.7 percent and paralegal positions are expected to increase 28.5 percent from 2004 to 2014. Of the 97 graduates, 74 will be graduating from either the Medical Assistant program or the Paralegal program.
