M/I Homes Q2 Results Miss Estimates

(RTTNews) - M/I Homes, Inc. (MHO) reported net income for the second quarter of $6.0 million or $0.25 per share, compared to $3.2 million or $0.17 per share for the year-ago quarter.

The latest quarter net income includes $1.2 million of asset impairments, compared to $0.7 million of asset impairments in the prior year quarter.

Total revenue for the second quarter rose to $234.55 million from $170.99 million a year ago.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.36 per share on revenue of $257.69 million for the second quarter.

Homes delivered in 2013's second quarter were 788 compared to 625 in 2012's second quarter - up 26%.
