Lexmark Acknowledges Hyland Software's Offer For ReadSoft - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Lexmark International, Inc. (LXK) Tuesday acknowledged Hyland Software's tender offer for Sweden-based ReadSoft.

Lexmark had presented a revised offer to the shareholders of ReadSoft of SEK 43.00 on June 19, 2014, representing a 133.7 percent premium compared with the closing share price of SEK 18.40 per class B share in ReadSoft on the last trading day.

Hyland UK had offered SEK 42.86 in cash per share in ReadSoft, irrespective of share class.

"We acknowledge Hyland Software's latest offer for ReadSoft and are evaluating an appropriate response," said Paul Rooke, Lexmark's Chairman and Chief executive officer.
