Keynote Announces New Executive Appointments in Marketing and Europe
Keynote Systems (Nasdaq:KEYN), the global leader in on-demand mobile and
Internet test & measurement solutions for continuously improving the
online experience, today announced that Anshu Agarwal, 38, has been
promoted to vice president of marketing, reporting to Umang Gupta,
chairman and CEO of Keynote. As vice president of marketing Mr. Agarwal
will be responsible for increasing the strength of the Keynote brand
globally and will oversee all awareness-building and lead generation
activities for the company. Since joining Keynote in April 2006, Mr.
Agarwal has served as senior director and executive director of
marketing. Mr. Agarwal has developed and led marketing and public
relations at companies ranging from blue-chip HP to startup
Shutterfly.com for over 17 years. Prior to joining Keynote, he led
online marketing, product marketing and public relations for Fireman’s
Fund’s two billion Dollar commercial division.
The appointment was effective May 1.
"Keynote has made great strides in expanding
our customer touch points, renewing our brand and introducing ourselves
into new markets such as the mobile Web,” said
Umang Gupta. "Anshu’s
promotion reflects the creativity, focus on excellence, and execution
that has gone into making this happen. Under his leadership, marketing
will continue to play a central role in enabling the 24x7 conversations
that are the lifeblood of business in our digital information age.”
Johannes Reis, 51, who has been president of Keynote SIGOS for the last
10 years, will be retiring from the company effective August 1. Keynote
SIGOS, a subsidiary of Keynote based in Nuremburg, Germany, is a leading
provider of on-demand testing and monitoring of telecom networks,
services and components. Taking over from Mr. Reis’s
position as managing directors, Keynote SIGOS, will be Adil Kaya, 40,
and Martin Löhlein, 42. Mr. Reis will oversee
a smooth transition over the next 3 months.
Mr. Kaya and Mr. Löhlein have been with the
company since its founding over 20 years ago. Their appointments were
effective April 28. Both executives will also report to Umang Gupta.
"I know both Adil and Martin are excited to
take on these new responsibilities, and that they look forward to taking
Keynote SIGOS to new heights in the coming years,”
said Mr. Gupta. "Johannes, from whom I could
not have asked for a better business partnership after the acquisition
of Keynote SIGOS, has long expressed a desire to devote more time to
personal pursuits. I would like to thank him for the truly meticulous
way in which he has prepared for this executive transition, and I am
confident that Keynote SIGOS will not miss a beat as we make this change
in leadership.” About Keynote
