Kamux to expand in Sweden - tenth showroom in Karlstad

Kamux, a company specialising in used car sales, continues its strong growth. Kamux is now expanding its operations in Sweden by opening a new showroom in Karlstad at the beginning of December.

Showroom network in Sweden expanding

"With the showroom in Karlstad, we will strengthen our foothold in Sweden. We already have nine showrooms in Sweden, so Karlstad will be the tenth Swedish city where Kamux operates," says Tommi Iiskonmäki, Swedish Country Director.

Karlstad is located in central Sweden, halfway between Stockholm and Oslo. A lively student city and industrial location, it has about 90,000 inhabitants, and tens of thousands more live within its sphere of influence.

Kamux growing in the Swedish market

"The showroom in Karlstad is the next step in Kamux's growth in the Swedish market. It will make our network of showrooms in Sweden even more comprehensive. The expansion also means a larger selection of cars for our customers," says Juha Kalliokoski, CEO of Kamux.

Suitable location found in Våxnäs

"We found a suitable location for a car showroom in the Våxnäs area. In total, we will have approximately 1,500 square metres of indoor space in addition to the outdoor area. The number of cars in the showroom will be about 100. The Kamux concept works in Sweden exactly like it does in Finland: the entire Swedish selection of about 600 cars is within the reach of customers, regardless of where or how they choose to do business. Our selection in Germany is also equally available to our Swedish customers," Iiskonmäki says.

Kamux hiring new salespersons

"As a growing company, we are continuously hiring new staff, particularly new salespersons. We strive to be a car dealership where our customers find it easy and comfortable to shop, and this is why we invest a lot in training our sales staff. The right attitude is key and, therefore, previous experience in car sales is not essential," Iiskonmäki says.

The address of the new Kamux dealership is Blockgatan 7. Initially, there will be five salespersons serving Kamux customers in Karlstad.
