JetBlue Provides Q4, FY18 Outlook - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - While reporting its third-quarter financial results today, JetBlue Airways Corp. (JBLU) provided its outlook for the fourth quarter and fiscal 2018.

For the fourth quarter, the airline projects capacity to increase between 7.5 percent and 9.5 percent, revenue per available seat mile or RASM growth to range between 1.0 percent and 4.0 percent, and operating expenses per available seat mile, excluding fuel, or CASM ex-fuel to decrease between 3.5 percent and 1.5 percent.

For fiscal 2018, JetBlue expects capacity to increase between 6.5 percent and 7.0 p[ercent, and CASM ex-fuel to be between 0.75 percent and 1.75 percent. The headwind from the pilot contract to CASM ex-fuel for the full year 2018 is expected to be equal to 1.3 points.
