JELD-WEN Posting Steep Loss After Cutting Guidance, CFO Departure

(RTTNews) - After gapping open sharply lower, shares of JELD-WEN Holding, Inc. (JELD) continue to see substantial weakness in afternoon trading on Tuesday. JELD-WEN is currently down by 19.4 percent after hitting a record intraday low.

The initial sell-off by JELD-WEN came after door and window manufacturer warned of weaker than previously forecast third quarter results. The company also lowered its full-year guidance.

JELD-WEN also announced its CFO L. Brooks Mallard is leaving the company to pursue other career interests. Mallard will be replaced by John Linker, who previously served as the company's treasurer and interim finance leader for JELD-WEN's Europe and Australasia segments.
