JanusINTECH Institutional Names Chad Gross to Its Public Funds Team

Janus Capital Group Inc. (NYSE: JNS) has appointed Chad Gross as vice president and director of Public Funds with JanusINTECH Institutional.

Gross is responsible for marketing INTECH, Janus and Perkins-managed strategies to U.S. public funds with assets under $1 billion. He reports to Dan Charles, senior vice president and managing director of JanusINTECH Institutional.

"Chad brings a high level of expertise and a disciplined focus to the Public Fund marketplace, said Charles. "He has proven himself to be a tremendous asset to our public funds team and is the right person to lead our efforts in this important segment of the market.

Gross, who has been with Janus since 2006, is a former U.S. Army Blackhawk helicopter pilot. He holds a bachelors degree in business administration from Texas Tech University.
