IXYS Q4 Profit Soars - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Semiconductor maker IXYS Corp. (IXYS) reported that fourth-quarter net income soared to $7.80 million or $0.24 per share from $0.13 million or breakeven per share in the prior-year quarter.

Excluding amortization of intangible assets and stock compensation, adjusted net income for the quarter was $9.88 million or $0.30 per share, compared to $3.60 million or $0.11 per share in the year-ago quarter.

Net revenues for the quarter decreased to $82.93 million from $89.90 million in the same quarter last year.

Looking ahead, the company said it expects revenues for the first quarter to be sequentially in line with revenues for the fourth quarter, implying revenues of about $83 million.
