"Replacing those reduced-impedance speakers with four-ohm models is hardly an upgrade, since the power output from the amplifier will be reduced. These new Reference speakers are definitely the best choice.” Infinity Reference speakers also include patent-pending Plus One® cone technology. Plus One cones provide more cone surface area in standard frame configurations for better bass and efficiency. As always, Infinity Reference speakers are designed to be easily installed in factory locations. In addition to Plus One woofer cones and reduced voice-coil impedance, Reference speakers incorporate edge-driven silk-dome tweeters and tweeter-level adjustment, just like the best high-end home audio speakers.
