IMAX Q2 Profit Slightly Up

(RTTNews) - IMAX Corp. (IMAX, IMX.TO) reported profit of $11.8 million or 17 cents per share for the second quarter. This compares with $11.03 million or 16 cents per share in the year ago quarter.

Revenues for the quarter rose to $82.3 million from $70.2 million in the same quarter of last year, driven by recurring revenue. Analysts were looking for revenues of $76.36 million for the period.
