IEEE Honors NetApp Cofounders Dave Hitz and James Lau With Reynold B. Johnson Storage Systems Award

On Tuesday, September 25, 2007, Network Appliance, Inc. (NASDAQ:NTAP) cofounders Dave Hitz and James Lau will be awarded the prestigious 2007 Reynold B. Johnson Information Storage Systems Award from the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), the world’s largest technical professional society. At the IEEE’s 24th Annual Symposium on Mass Storage Systems and Technologies in San Diego, California, Hitz and Lau will be recognized for their innovative contributions to the data storage industry.
