Idearc Media Only Major Publisher to Separate Yellow Pages Directories for Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton-Phillipsburg

Idearc Media Corp., publisher of the Verizon® Yellow Pages and home to Superpages.com®, is the only major yellow pages publisher in Lehigh Valley to separate Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton-Phillipsburg into three books for more user friendly directories. The Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton-Phillipsburg Verizon Yellow Pages are currently being distributed. Residents will also receive a Lehigh Valley Verizon® Yellow Pages Companion Directory, which includes listings for all three areas. Companion directories are convenient, compact-size directories perfect for on the go use when traveling between areas. All three directories and the companion directory had an average increase of 99 pages this year. In addition to new business listings and advertisements, the new books have at least 50 more pages of coupons and 25 pages of additional restaurant menus. "As one of the most rapidly growing areas in all of Pennsylvania, a single Lehigh Valley directory has the potential to be very large and heavy,” said Merhan Wahby, general sales manager for Idearc Media. "Based on customer feedback, the three, more targeted directories are the best fit for Lehigh Valley.” Each directory features: a Dining Your Way! restaurant guide spotlighting area restaurants with an A-Z index, menus and maps; a community magazine with information on must-see attractions, local entertainment venues and recreational activities; and valuable coupons from many local businesses. The directories’ covers feature the logo for the Iron Pigs, the minor league AAA baseball affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies.
