IAR Systems Launches Technical Training Offering IAR Academy

IAR Systems® (STO:IARB) today announced the launch of IAR Academy™, an educational offering aimed at new as well as experienced users of IAR Embedded Workbench®, the world-leading development tool suite for embedded applications.

As embedded systems are growing in complexity, and demands for higher performance and shortened time-to-market are ever-increasing, developers can benefit a lot from gaining competitive skill advantages through technical training. IAR Systems has seen a high demand from customers wanting to improve efficiency and learn to maximize the return on their tools investment.

IAR Academy offers class-room courses on a basic level, as well as on an advanced level. The training program will start off by offering the courses Getting started for novice users, Efficient programming for experienced users, and Advanced debugging for experienced users. All the courses provide a combination of expert-led lectures and workshop exercises. In addition to the scheduled courses, IAR Academy can provide customized trainings based on specific customers’ needs.

IAR Academy starts its activities in Sweden and Germany, two of IAR Systems’ key markets in Europe. The scheduled trainings will run on a monthly basis, primarily based at the sites of IAR Systems’ offices. Customized courses will be arranged on request and can take place on site at the customer location, or at a venue provided by IAR Systems.
