Humana Celebrates Opening of Utah Market Office

As part of a long-term commitment to provide affordable insurance products and services to the rapidly-growing business community and senior population in Utah, officials with Humana Inc. (NYSE: HUM) will celebrate the opening Thursday, May 29, of a new and expanded office location at 9815 South Monroe Street (240 West), Suite 300, in Sandy. The public is cordially invited to participate in the grand opening ceremony from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. featuring an appearance and remarks by Danny White, Utah Blaze head coach, tours of the office space, refreshments, door prizes, product displays and seminars on healthcare consumerism. Celebratory remarks at a 9 a.m. ribbon cutting ceremony will be given by Sandy Mayor Tom Dolan and Earl F. Hurst, president of Humana of Utah. Humana is one of the fastest growing providers of health plans to employers in Utah and is the largest provider of MedicareAdvantage products and prescription drug plans to Medicare beneficiaries in the state. In addition to housing Humana associates who market and sell the company’s commercial health insurance products and Humana MarketPOINT senior products, the space will house personnel in provider contracting, clinical innovations and provider relations.
