Holiday Inn El Paso Hotel Sunland Park Completes Hotel and Restaurant Renovation

EL PASO, Texas, May 17 /PRNewswire/ -- The Holiday Inn El Paso Hotel Sunland Park has completed a $2 million renovation with extensive upgrades to its 176 guestrooms and commercial areas. Upgrades include a renovated lobby and ballroom; newly remodeled guestrooms; new restaurant and bar area with authentic Mexican menu; new fitness and health center that overlook the pool and majestic Franklin Mountains, and new, high-tech executive boardroom.

The two-story hotel is owned by Largo El Paso SPE LLC and managed by Lane Hospitality, under a license agreement with Holiday Inn, Inc. It is located off I-10 on the West Side of El Paso, bordering New Mexico to the west and Ciudad Juarez, Mexico to the south. The hotel is minutes from El Paso International Airport.

According to Cathy Aguilera, General Manager of the Holiday Inn El Paso Sunland Park, "Guests will experience a completely new and upscale experience when visiting the hotel. Everything from the guestrooms and meeting space to the restaurant has been taken to a whole new level of excellence."

For example, the newly remodeled guestrooms allow for a more efficient use of space and relaxing experience, with new carpet, furniture, and granite countertops in the bathroom. The new executive boardroom is equipped with the latest technology, and brings the hotel's total flexible meeting space to nearly 5,000 square feet. The hotel offers complimentary high-speed wireless Internet access throughout.

The new restaurant concept for the Puerta A Mexico Restaurant highlights the authentic flavors and spices of regional Mexican cuisine.
