GSE Systems Webinar Explains How To Attain and Maintain COMAH Compliance for Electrical Safety

Through its wholly-owned subsidiary, GSE Systems Ltd., global energy industry performance improvement company GSE Systems, Inc. (NYSE MKT: GVP) ("GSE”) will be hosting a free webinar to help Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), engineering and operations managers attain and maintain compliance with COMAH regulations for electrical safety.

The fourth and final webinar in the company’s popular series will explain the ways of reducing and managing the risks associated with electrical power systems. It will provide best practice advice for achieving and maintaining compliance with COMAH requirements, with the wider aim of helping engineers to improve electrical safety at their workplaces.

The one hour webinar will be presented by experienced COMAH and Electrical, Control and Instrumentation (EC&I) systems expert Jeremy Gadd, who will discuss a range of factors that impact COMAH compliance. This includes: electrical installations for high and low voltage systems; electrical power system earthing; safe operation and implementing safe systems of work; and inspection, maintenance and testing. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask any specific questions they may have on these topics.

Jeremy Gadd, Head of Control, Instrumentation and Automation at GSE Systems, explained: "Updates and amendments to regulations means that what was once well understood can quickly become outdated. Complying therefore becomes a moving target, however is absolutely achievable if a proactive approach is taken. Our webinar, based on years of experience and specialist COMAH expertise, aims to help those responsible for EC&I systems and health and safety to do just that.”

The webinar will take place on Wednesday 11th November at 2pm (GMT).
