Google Expected To Launch New Nexus Phones, Updated Chromecast On Sept. 29
(RTTNews) - Google Inc. (GOOGL, GOOG) has announced that it will host a press event on Tuesday, September 29 at 9 am in San Francisco. The company has promised 'some tasty new treats and much S'more'. The event will be live streamed via google channel on YouTube.
At the event, the company is expected to introduce two new Nexus smartphones, and an updated Chromecast device. The new smartphones, developed by Huawei and LG, would run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The redesigned Chromecast is expected to support a faster Wi-Fi specification, and some new features. Chromecast is a media streaming device which allows Android phones, tablet, iPhone, iPad, Mac or Windows laptop, or Chromebook to cast screen and apps to TV, using Wi-Fi.
