GM Declares Increased Q2 Dividend

(RTTNews) - General Motors Co. (GM) on Monday declared a second quarter dividend of $0.36 per share, an increase of 20% from the $0.30 quarterly dividend paid since the first quarter of 2014.

The second quarter dividend is payable on June 23 to all common shareholders of record as of June 10.

The increase is consistent with the company's capital allocation framework to generate high returns on investments in the business, maintain an investment-grade balance sheet and return capital to shareholders.

The company previously announced its intention to increase its quarterly dividend on February 4.
