GM Announces 4 More Recalls Covering About 106K Vehicles

(RTTNews) - General Motors (GM), announced four more vehicle recalls, totaling about 106 thousand vehicles mainly due to inoperative warning chime and non-deployment of air bags in a crash.

Nearly 15.9 million vehicles across North America has been covered in 34 recalls including 13.9 million in the United States.

The largest recall announced on Friday involves the warning-chime issue and includes about 69,500 of the company's newest pickup trucks and sport utility vehicles, including 57,500 in United States.

The automaker terminated 15 employees over recall failures.
