ATLANTA, Feb. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Global Payments Inc. , a leader in payment processing services, announced today that Institutional Investor named its Chairman, President and CEO, Paul R. Garcia, one of "The Best CEOs in America" for the third year in a row. In the January 2007 issue, the publication ranked Garcia among the best CEOs in the "Technology: Computer Services and IT Consulting" business sector. To determine the CEOs doing the "best work," Institutional Investor surveyed more than 1,000 portfolio managers at 486 money management firms responsible for investing $6.9 trillion in U.S. stocks. The question posed was: "Who is the best CEO in the sector for which you are responsible?" The respondents gave their first, second and third choices, which were weighted to calculate a score for each CEO.
