    MELVILLE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 4, 2005--Adecco (NYSE:ADO), the largest staffing company in the U.S. and the world, today announced the appointment of George Reardon as SVP and General Counsel of Adecco Group North America, effective immediately. In this role, Reardon succeeds Jyrl Washington, who has served Adecco since 1998 and who will continue with the company through the transitional period.
    During Reardon's many years of legal practice, he has built an impressive range of staffing industry expertise, including workforce transfers, union relations, customer contracts, co-employment and secondary vendor relations. He has held several senior management positions in the staffing industry, including, most recently, that of Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Kelly Services. Reardon has also served as vice chairman of the American Staffing Association's legal and legislative committee and was a member of the American Staffing Association's board of directors and executive committee.
