Gartner Inc. Reports 28% Increase In Q3 Bottom Line

(RTTNews) - Gartner Inc. (IT) reported earnings for its third quarter that climbed from last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $48.23 million, or $0.58 per share. This was higher than $37.64 million, or $0.45 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.50 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 14.8% to $574.06 million. This was up from $500.17 million last year.
