Frontline Posts Q3 Attributable Net Loss Of $36.4 Mln - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Frontline Ltd. (FRO, FRO.L) reported a net loss attributable to the company of $36.4 million, or $0.46 per share in the third quarter of 2013. In the second quarter, net loss was $120.3 million, equivalent to a loss per share of $1.54.

The firm recorded a vessel impairment loss of $22.4 million in the third quarter, compared with an impairment loss of $81.3 million in the preceding quarter. The third quarter impairment loss relates to the Front Champion and Golden Victory.

Looking ahead, the board expects fourth-quarter operating result, excluding one time gains and losses, to improve compared with the third quarter. Frontline will not pay a dividend for the 2013 third quarter.
