Fresh Market Names Sean Crane Interim CEO As Craig Carlock Quits; Backs FY View

(RTTNews) - Specialty grocery retailer Fresh Market Inc (TFM) on Monday said that Craig Carlock, president and chief executive officer, has left the company and also has resigned as a member of the board.

The company named Sean Crane, executive vice president and chief operating officer, as interim CEO, effective immediately.

Fresh Market's board has retained an executive search firm to assist in identifying candidates for the position of President and CEO.

Sean Crane, Interim CEO, is a seasoned executive with fourteen years of senior management experience with Fresh Market, and has been serving as executive vice president and COO since 2012.

For fiscal year 2014, Fresh Market continues to expect adjusted earnings of $1.56 to $1.64 per share and comparable store sales growth of 2.5 to 3.5 percent.
