Ford CEO Alan Mulally's Pay Hiked To $23.2 Mln In 2013
(RTTNews) - Ford Motor Co. (F) Friday revealed in its regulatory filing a total compensation of $23.2 million for its Chief Executive Officer Alan Mulally in 2013, an increase from $20.95 million in 2012.
While Mulally's base salary remained the same at $2 million, the bonus component rose to $1.96 million from $1.32 million last year and stock awards increased to $10.91 million from $6.82 million in 2012. However, option awards declined to $3.75 million from $7.49 million a year ago. Non-equity incentive plan compensation increased to $3.92 million from $2.62 million last year.
The company also reported in its filing a reduction in the compensation for Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Robert Shanks to $4.09 million in 2013, from $5.18 million in 2012. Shanks's basic salary for 2013 increased to about $773 thousand from $700 thousand a year earlier, but he did not receive any bonus during the year, compared with about $228 thousand in 2012. Stock awards advanced to $1.74 million from $818,998 in 2012, while option awards declined to $600 thousand from $900 thousand last year. Non-equity incentive plan compensation increased to $875 thousand from about $563 thousand a year ago.
The compensation for the company's Chief Operating Officer Mark Fields grew to $10.17 million in 2013, from $8.85 million in 2012. His basic salary was $1.54 million, compared with $1.38 million last year. His bonus for the year declined to $996 thousand from $1.3 million in 2012, while stock awards increased to $3.64 million from $1 million a year ago. Option awards rose to $1.25 million from $1.09 million last year and non-equity incentive plan compensation increased to $2.6 million from $1.04 million a year earlier.
