Force Multiplier Ventures Announces Advisory Board

INDIANAPOLIS, Aug. 4, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Andrew Weaver, president and founder of Force Multiplier Ventures, has announced the company's advisory board. The board is comprised of a diverse group of community leaders from both civilian and military backgrounds.

The newly appointed board members are:

Chad Pittman
Executive Vice President, Office of Technology Commercialization, Purdue University Research Foundation
Pittman has held his current role for nearly four years, while concurrently serving in the Indiana Army National Guard as a detachment chief on the 172nd Cyber Protection Team. He's also a veteran of the U.S. Army. Prior to his time at Purdue, he served as executive vice president and chief of staff for the Indiana Economic Development Corporation for nearly six years. Additionally, he sits on numerous boards and committees throughout the city.

David Wood;
Major General (retired) U.S. Army; Captain, Delta Airlines
Wood has served in the U.S. Army for over thirty-three years, and has been an airline captain for over twenty years. Wood is a West Point graduate who also holds a Masters in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College. He served as a commander in Operation Iraqi Freedom and as an assistant S3 in Operation Desert Shield/Storm.

John Wechsler;
Entrepreneur; Founder of Launch Fishers
Wechsler has a long history of creating startup businesses, most of them tech-related. Wechsler created Launch Fishers, a business incubator co-op, in 2012. He's also created or co-created Taxi Ventures, SimCave and Formstack.

Kirk Dooley;
Director of Event Operations, Indianapolis Motor Speedway
Dooley has been with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for two years and was the chief of staff for INDYCAR prior to that. Dooley has a long history in the military, having served in the U.S. Marine Corps since 1991, as an intelligence officer, recruiter, senior intelligence advisor, and executive officer.

Gerry Erb;
Entrepreneur and Management Consultant
Erb is the founder and CEO of Erb Health, a healthcare management company and angel investment group. He has previously served as the CEO of Verve Health and the COO of RepuCare.

Janet McNeal;
Education Professional, Head of School at Herron High School
McNeal has over thirty-five years' experience in education. Her teaching career began in South Korea, teaching U.S. soldiers American history and English. She was both a teacher and a director at Cathedral High School. She currently presides as president of Indianapolis Classical Schools.

Jonathan Harris;
Education Professional, Assistant Head of School at Herron High School
Harris has served as vice president of Indianapolis Classical Schools for over two years.

Dr. Mark Stevens;
Retired Physician

Ivan Denton;
Director of Personnel and Manpower, National Guard
Denton has served in the National Guard in various capacities, including: garrison commander, director of Army personnel and recruiting and retention commander. He has also served as a brigade commander in the U.S. Army in support of Operation New Dawn.

Dr. Ryan Carnes
Naval Surface Warfare Center; Crane Division

The newly appointed advisory board will work in tandem with Weaver, along with Patrick Drabrick, partner and executive vice president and Dave Holahan, director of European operations and executive vice president.
