Winter Sports and Outdoors deals will offer shoppers up to 60 percent discount on winter coats, boots, hats, gloves and under garments from top stores, with top name-brands like Under Armour, North Face and Timberland, throughout January.

The majority of tax software retailers like H&R Block and Turbotax will offer up to 50 percent off on both desktop and online tax software deals for both personal and small business tax. In addition, FatWallet members can receive up to 10 percent cash back savings.

The second half of January will offer the best selection of top-end HDTV deals leading up to the Super Bowl. Consumers can expect an average savings of more than $200 on 40" and higher 4k TV and last year's 50'60" 1080p TV models, according to the shopping guide.
