Eversource Energy Profit Climbs In Q3

(RTTNews) - Eversource Energy (ES) announced earnings for its third quarter that climbed from the same period last year.

The company's bottom line came in at $289.38 million, or $0.91 per share. This compares with $260.37 million, or $0.82 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.90 per share, according to figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company's revenue for the quarter rose 14.1% to $2.27 billion from $1.99 billion last year.
