Eutelsat Appoints Yohann Leroy As Chief Technical Officer

(RTTNews) - Eutelsat Communications (EUTLF.PK) Friday announced the appointment of Yohann Leroy as Chief Technical Officer, succeeding Raphaël Mussalian.

The company noted that Mussalian will be Eutelsat's Special Advisor on Technology Strategy reporting to Chairman and CEO Michel de Rosen.

As Chief Technical Officer, Leroy's responsibilities include leading Eutelsat's in-orbit expansion programme including satellite procurement, launch as well as in-orbit and network operations from its teleports around the globe, and driving Eutelsat's long-term satellite technology roadmap.

Leroy joined Eutelsat in 2010 as Director of Strategy, and assumed the role of Director of Engineering in 2013. From 2007 to 2010, he was technical advisor in the office of the French Prime Minister, in charge notably of the digital economy and industrial policy.

In Paris, Eutelsat shares are gaining 0.06 percent, and trading at 24.91 euros.
