Eureka Hunter Names Christopher Akers COO

(RTTNews) - Eureka Hunter Pipeline, LLC , a unit of Magnum Hunter Resources Corp.(MHR), Monday said it named Christopher Akers as its Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, with effect from Aprl 8. Akers joins Eureka with more than 25 years of pipeline experience. Previously he has served as Vice President of Team Environmental LLC since 2013. He had also served on the board of West Virginia Oil and Natural Gas Association and as chairman of the Midstream group of SGA. Gary Evans, CEO of Magnum Hunter Resources, said, "After an extensive search throughout the market over the past year in our goal to find the right person with the correct credentials, proper background, and extensive operational experience especially in the Appalachian Basin, we believe we have finally accomplished this goal with the hiring of Chris Akers."
