Energy Stocks Jump Along With The Price Of Crude Oil
(RTTNews) - Benefiting from a sharp increase by the price of crude oil, energy stocks have moved notably higher during trading on Wednesday.
Reflecting the strength in the sector, the NYSE Arca Natural Gas Index is up by 2.1 percent, the Philadelphia Oil Service Index is up by 1.9 percent, and the NYSE Arca Oil & Gas Index is up by 1.6 percent.
The gains come as the price of crude for May delivery is jumping $1.75 to $37.64 a barrel following the release of a report showing that crude oil inventories fell by 4.9 million barrels last week.
