EI DuPont De Nemours & Co. Q3 Earnings Fall 68%

(RTTNews) - EI DuPont De Nemours & Co. (DD) released a profit for third quarter that lost ground from last year.

The company said its profit fell to $117 million, or $0.13 per share. This was down from $361 million, or $0.39 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.10 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 17.6% to $4.87 billion. This was down from $5.91 billion last year.
