Dycom Results Top Estimates, Q4 Outlook Strong; Stock Up 12%

(RTTNews) - Dycom Industries Inc (DY), a provider of specialty contracting services, on Tuesday reported third-quarter net earnings of $20.3 million or $0.58 per share compared with $7.9 million or $0.23 per share last year.

Revenues for the quarter were $492.4 million compared with $426.3 million in the prior year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.37 per share on revenues of $468.2 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

For the fourth quarter, the company expects earnings of $0.74 to $0.82 per share on revenues of $550 million to $570 million. Analysts expect earnings of $0.58 per share on revenues of $522.8 million.
