The sale of the Frankfurt based First Telecom GmbH ends net mobile AG's operational activities in voice solutions. CEO Björn M. Reiter is taking over the company as part of the management buyout.

Dusseldorf, January 6, 2016 - One of the world's leading provider of payment solutions and mobile value-added services, net mobile AG (ISIN: DE000813852) today announced the management buyout dated 31 December 2015 of the 100 percent subsidiary First Telecom GmbH, including its subsidiaries First Communication GmbH and United Payment GmbH, to the First Business Beteiligungs GmbH.

"We decided on the management buyout because, firstly, voice solutions are no longer part of our core strategy and, secondly, we can streamline our processes and organisation accordingly. We are delighted that our long standing colleague Björn M. Reiter is an expert who will successfully continue to run First Telecom GmbH. Since there are still synergies in the areas of customers, products and technology platforms, we will continue to work closely together with sales cooperation agreements and various service contracts" says Edgar Schnorpfeil, CEO of net mobile AG.
