As already published as an ad hoc release on January 26, 2017, EASY SOFTWARE AG acquired, with retroactive effect as of January 1, 2017, the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) business entity from Ettlingen-based Schleupen AG. In terms of product sales, Schleupen is one of EASY SOFTWARE's most important partner companies. Along with the ECM business entity, contractual relationships to end customers and other partner companies are transferred to EASY SOFTWARE AG.

Clear goal, common growth
Through this acquisition, EASY SOFTWARE AG wants to intensify its longtime and successful collaboration with the customers and partners taken over from Schleupen AG and to tap common growth potential. The conditions for this are good: while for the newly acquired partners this provides new sales opportunities through direct support by the manufacturer when selling the EASY suites, EASY SOFTWARE AG expects that this strengthening of its partner sales & distribution channel will be reflected in additional sales and revenues. In concrete terms, at joint-stock company level, EASY expects a sales growth, adjusted for internal effects, of about 4 percent from this transaction alone. It also expects immediate, above-average earnings growth.
