Deutsche Borse Q3 Revenues Up 20%
(RTTNews) - German stock exchange operator Deutsche Borse (DBOEF.PK, DBOEY.PK), Wednesday reported third-quarter revenues of 594.4 million euros, up 20 percent from 495.6 million euros last year.
Revenue growth was driven largely by persistently high equity market volatility, the positive development in custody and administration of securities, and the market data business, the company said.
Deutsche Borse's earnings before interest and tax increased to 249.7 million euros from 221.6 million euros last year. Excluding non-recurring items, the Group's EBIT rose 21 percent to 283.1 million euros. Basic earnings per share rose to 0.90 euro from 0.81 euro last year.
In the first nine months, Deutsche Borse generated revenue of 1,777.6 million euros, a year-on-year increase of 18 percent from 1,503.5 million euros last year.
