Deere And Co Announces 19% Decline In Q4 Bottom Line

(RTTNews) - Deere And Co (DE) reported a profit for fourth quarter that lost ground from last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $285.3 million, or $0.90 per share. This was lower than $351.2 million, or $1.08 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.4 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 4.7% to $5.65 billion. This was down from $5.93 billion last year.
