CTC Media Appoints Maxim Bobin As Chief Legal Officer - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - CTC Media Inc. (CTCM), a leading Russian independent media company, announced the appointment of Maxim Bobin as a Chief Legal Officer. Bobin will be responsible for the company's legal affairs and for the coordination of the company's potential responses to the recent amendments to the Russian law "On Mass Media," which will impose further restrictions on foreign ownership of media businesses in Russia, as well as for the company's restructuring activities.

Bobin will report directly to CTC Media CEO Yuliana Slashcheva. Maxim Bobin has previously served as the Head of Legal for LUKOIL Lubricants Co, Carlo Pazolini Group, Mail.Ru, and NCH Advisors, Inc. He has also served on the Board of Volgatelekom and Sibirtelecom.
