CSR Plc Q2 Profit Rises - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - CSR plc (CSRE, CSRXF.PK, CSR.l) reported that its second-quarter net income increased to $18.3 million or $0.10 per share, from $5.0 million or $0.03 per share, last year. Underlying net income rose to $32.1 million or $0.18 per share, from $17.3 million or $0.09 per share, last year.

Profit before tax rose to $21.10 million, from $7.23 million, last year.

Revenue decreased to $262.5 million, from $266.5 million last year. Core revenue was $203.1 million, compared to $179.0 million, last year. CSR said its revenue growth was particularly strong in Voice & Music, though growth in this business line was more than offset by the decline in revenue in Consumer and the Legacy Products Group.

CSR plc expects its third-quarter revenue to be in the range of $240 million to $260 million. The company currently expects revenue for the full year to be in line with market consensus expectations.
