CSC's Cash Offer For Xchanging Gets Satisfaction Of US Merger Control Condition

(RTTNews) - IT services provider Computer Sciences Corp (CSC) announced Monday the satisfaction of US merger control condition in its unit CSC Computer Sciences International Operations Ltd.'s recommended cash offer for Xchanging Plc. (XCH.L)

The company noted that the waiting period under the United States Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976, as amended, has been terminated.

As such, CSC's offer for Xchanging remains subject to certain conditions, including that the European Commission taking a decision that it shall not initiate proceedings in relation to the Offer or any matter arising from it.
