CORRECTING and REPLACING Mimi's Cafe Brings Back Seafood Specials
Please replace the release dated February 21, 2008 with the following
corrected version due to multiple revisions.
The corrected release reads:
MIMI’S
CAFE BRINGS BACK SEAFOOD SPECIALS
Mimi’s Cafe is bringing back their
seafood-focused seasonal features from Feb. 21 through May 21.
Top-quality fish including plump shrimp, cod, jumbo scallops and
delicate Mahi Mahi will be available at more than 125 locations
nationwide and cooked-to-order to guests’
preferences. This is the second year that the collection of upscale
casual dining restaurants has created a handful of dishes to appease
seafood lovers with light, flavorful options such as Shrimp, Artichoke &
Feta Omelette, Salmon "Nicoise”
Salad and Seafood Fettuccine.
"Our seafood specials have been wildly
popular, so this year I’ve created even more
selections using new, homemade sauces and a larger variety of fish,”
said Adam Baird, Head Chef at Mimi’s Cafe. "I
think guests will really enjoy our Orange Chile Glazed Shrimp. It
delivers the perfect balance of sweet and tangy. I also predict that the
Salmon ‘Nicoise’
Salad will be a hit with those looking for a lighter lunch or dinner
without having to compromise on flavor.”
Following are descriptions of the seafood items available on the "Seasonal
Features” menu, which range from $7.99 to
$14.99:
Shrimp, Artichoke & Feta Omelette:
Filled with diced shrimp, artichoke hearts, diced tomatoes and feta
cheese. Topped with tomato asiago cream sauce and served with a
freshly baked muffin, red skin potatoes and fresh squeezed juice.
Orange Chile Glazed Shrimp (appetizer):
Sweet & tangy! Plump shrimp fried golden brown and tossed in a creamy
orange garlic chile sauce. Served with honey lime cilantro coleslaw.
Salmon "Nicoise”
Salad: Mixed greens, egg, feta cheese and diced tomatoes all
tossed in balsamic vinaigrette and topped with a grilled petite salmon
fillet, marinated artichokes & red bliss potatoes. Served with a
freshly baked muffin.
Crispy Seafood Duo: A seafood
bounty! Golden fried cod fillets and plump country shrimp. Served with
french fries and creamy coleslaw.
Seafood Fettuccine: Fettuccine
